Happy Hearts - age 55 and over
The Happy Hearts of Second Baptist, Cherryville meet the first Saturday in each month. This is an opportunity to fellowship with other seniors. They have an outing monthly and twice a year our seniors take trips to places such as Myrtle Beach, Pennsylvania and Georgia. God's Little Messengers - ages 2 through grade 6
Our children's ministry directors plan activities every other month for the children. Activities include going to the movies, Disney on Ice, going to the park, swimming and going to see the Christmas lights. Women on Mission​
Our Women on Mission of Second Baptist, Cherryville meets the first Wednesday of each month. Our WMU is an active group of women who desire to serve the Lord through mission opportunities throughout the church and community. They sponsor our annual Annie Armstrong Easter offering and our Lottie Moon Christmas offering drives. They also participate in the Greater Gaston Baptist mission opportunities. Please come join this exciting group of ladies.

Baptist Men
Our Baptist Men of Second Baptist, Cherryville meets the first Wednesday of each month for a devotion and discussion of any projects needed in the community. They have built ramps, helped with disaster relief, repaired roofs, and other small one-day building projects for the elderly or handicapped.
