Our Mission
It is the duty of our church to seek to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. It is the duty of every Christian to win the lost to Christ by personal witnessing and all other methods sanctioned by the gospel of Christ. The main focus of all worship services and gatherings at Second Baptist is the preaching of God's Word.

Mission Opportunities
We do mission projects throughout the year. We are currently collecting items for our soldiers in Afghanistan. We will begin collecting items for Operation Christmas Child and for our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

Prayer Ministry
We have a men's prayer group each Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. There is a women's prayer group that meets each Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.
We also have a phone tree that is sent out each day that contains prayer request and gives information on upcoming events.
All Sunday morning sermons are recorded onto DVDs for our elderly and shut-ins.
If you were unable to attend the Sunday morning service this week, you may request a dvd from our church office by clicking the button and submitting an email request.
